"The first time NPR went on the road for a broadcast, we went to KANU in Lawrence. I was hosting ALL THINGS CONSIDERED then (in the 1970s) and it was such a thrill. My first trip to Kansas. The library has so much to celebrate now, and again I am thrilled to be a part of it."
